writing for the GRE

In Order to vote in school elections in Lowville, you need only be a citizen, have lived in the district for 30 days, and be over the age of 18. Concerned that the turnout at recent school elections has been quite low, with only about 20 percent of eligible voters coming to the polls, school officials have discussed changing the regulations to require that voters be registered with the board of elections, as they must be for a general or municipal election. They posit that voters who are registered are already committed to the electoral process and thus are more likely to come to the polls for school elections as well.

Critique the reasoning used in the argument presented above by examining assumptions, assessing evidence, or suggesting ways to make the argument stronger or easier to evaluate.

Hi 8322265021ms,

Could you elaborate a bit on what information you are looking for? Are you asking about structure? I am not a GRE specialist, so I am not comfortable recommending structures and response suggestions to you. Please let me know specifically what you are looking for.

Dear Ryan,

Thanks so so much. I do not have so much time. I should pass the exam as soon as possible. So I am preparing for that very hard. As you have helped me I learned how can I write an essay very easily. You taught me how can I start my writing by filling the blanket like Today it is common for people... and so on. Because of your teaching I am able to keep my essay. For the essay which I have sent you I do need exactly the same thing. I have just 30 minutes to write about this kind of essay (which I guess american say critic writing). Even for me it is hard to understand the topic in this time.! SO I am begging you please help me and give me some structure for filling the blank in this kind of essay.

Thanks so so much for your kindness.

Sincerely,

Mina.

Hi Mina,

I really want to help you. The problem is that I am not entirely sure how. Keeping in mind that I am not a GRE instructor, here are some ideas:

The GRE question you have posted asks you to take a position. It suggests you look at the evidence, critique this line of thinking and pose possible areas of improvement (you'll have to use evidence from the question or provide your own to support these areas).

To respond to this fully, I would separate the essay into the four paragraphs (I would shorten the introduction and conclusion paragraphs to one-two sentences each, as you only have 30 minutes). The first supporting paragraph could be your critique of the current situation. The second supporting paragraph could be your suggestions regarding how Lowville could better increase voter turnout. I imagine your essay markers will want to see several pieces of evidence and discussion in each of these supporting paragraphs. I would share a final thought summarizing my position at the end of each supporting paragraph.

To wrap everything up, the final sentence of the essay could state with strength that you feel your assessment and suggested approach to be the ideal course of action for the school officials to follow.

Again, these are just some random ideas. If you have any sample GRE papers, try to pinpoint exactly how they go about forming argument and/or analyzing data.

Good luck!

Dear Ryan,

Thanks so so much for your recommend. For my application the writing part is the most important part . My score should be four.

Ryan, I really need to learn how I can critique of an essay. Would you mind if I asked you write your essay for me about the topic which I have given to you. It would be helpful for me because I can learn how you have done this, and at least I can use your sentences.

Please do this for me!

Thanks so so much.

Sincerely,

Mina.

Hi Mina,

I'm sorry, but I am up to my neck in IELTS related work. Plus, as I told you, I am not a GRE specialist.

Are there no GRE teachers online that can help you with this?

There are the solutions of school assignment writing services, evaluation writing services, thesis writing services, thesis solutions and many more. The best factor to be done by learners is to create sure that they choose such a company that provides them solutions in different areas of writing rather than offering them the admission essay writing service in just one field.
