Describe a place that you have visited recently. Please say

- What is this place?
- Why did you go there?
- With whom did you go there?

Hello paperheart,

Thanks for sharing your speech with us.
I would say that you should add more content to your speech, speak more. Although your speaking rate is not bad, you leave many gaps, or pauses, and that will harm your score on fluency. On top of that, work on pronunciation as well. Some examples:

museum
independence
against
advisor
feedback

Keep up the good work!

Hi, Paperheart,

Thanks for sharing information about this museum. I’ll bet it’s really interesting to visit!

First, I like how you provide details that illustrate the purpose of the museum for someone (like me) who has never visited it before. Your answer was direct and to the point, making it easy for the listener to follow. I would encourage you to use more transitions in your answer, such as “additionally,” “moreover,”etc.

Your rate of speech is slow, but that is nothing to be too concerned about. Consider working on the number and length of the pauses you have in your answer, though. That slows down the entire speech considerably. Your pronunciation is quite clear, but I noticed that you didn’t say the “ts” sound in “independence.” Make sure you’re pronouncing every sound in each word you say.

You used good vocabulary. Among the higher-level words I heard were “illustrates,” “revolutionary struggle,” and “highly recommended.”

Here are a couple notes on grammar:
--capitalism country – capitalIST country
--website that shares on where to go. . . – provides information/feedback
--feedbacks – non-count noun – FEEDBACK

Best wishes as you continue to practice!
