In the past, we could made an expensive long distance calls to family or friend abroad. despirt of that we could send a letter to them, it needed to take several days or even a week or month to get the response.

You can also get their updates instantly from social network. Neverthless, you can make new friends with other countries through social network without travelling to their countries. Also you can search information you need from the internet or share common interests information within the internet groups, forum etc .
