IELTS 17th April 2015 QUESTIONS [Exam held in India GMT+5:30]

[Part 1]
  • What's your name?
  • Do you work or study?
  • What kind of job you do?
  • How often do you meet your friends?
  • Do you want to have few close friends or lots of friends?
  • What do you think about beauty?
  • How do you define the natural beauty?
  • Which is your favorite weather?
  • How many weather's are there in your country?
[Part 2]
Describe a person you recently met.
  • Who is this person?
  • When and how did you met?
  • What do you like about the person?
[Part 3]
  • Do you think there has been any changes in the definition of beauty from the past?
  • Do you think using models is good for cloth promoting?
  • How do you define the natural beauty?

Thanks. But are speaking tests across the globe the same? Just like the writing tasks?

I guess 'NO'. Though I am not sure. However, giving a thought in advance will certainly save lots of 'hmms'..:) and make you sound fluent! All the best!!

so weird to see questions such as "beauty" ones to pop up in speaking exam out of no where

SO what did you answer to the questions relating to beauty?

Well, you have to define what you think is beauty and how you can co-relate it with nature. For me its an internal beauty i.e the traits person carries as I am not big fan of physical appearance...:)

Section 2: Sports Player Names (matching questions)
Section 3: Desert (Multiple choice questions)
Section 4: Business Management [And: 4 decades, Dearth, philosophy, (something) property, young people, safety, health(y), both] {NOTE: I don't remember the exact order now...sorry:(}

READING

Section 1(a): Travel Instructions (T/F/NG, Fill in the blanks) [Ans: board, Travel Information Officers, discounted vouchers]
Section 1(b): Employment Termination (Fill in the blanks)[Ans: ]
Section 2(a): Resume Building (Fill in the blanks)[Ans: details,probation period, Continuous Education]
Section 2(b): Don't remember
Section 3: Glaciers/ New Ice Age [which paras contains the information & T/F/NG]

Task 1: Write a letter to a couple who has invited you in the wedding and you cant attend. Specify reason, Invite them and write some activities that you will do when they will be with you.
Task 2: Unhealthy diet and lack of exercise - effects of poor lifestyle. Specify reasons and propose solutions for a better lifestyle.

Wow! You have sharp mind, can remember the answers even in reading &listening. Unfortunately that's not the answer key yet right? But task2 seems easy topic.you're lucky
