The IELTS Balancing Act

Post by Theieltsguy »

Achieving your target IELTS score is a balancing act.

You can always achieve a great score by developing advanced English skills. However, you can also achieve a great score by understanding how the IELTS tests are structured and what the examiners are looking for. Studying the tests themselves is a lot easier than studying the entire English language, which is why so many people sign up for short-term IELTS preparation courses. The reality is that most of us will need to improve both our English proficiency and our IELTS test strategies to achieve our target score. Finding the right balance between these two options is the key.

At www.theieltsguy.com I offer free weekly IELTS practice questions in reading, writing, listening and speaking. Those who register with me (also free) receive my suggested answers every weekend. If you subscribe (not free, but only $10 per month) you can submit your answers to me and receive personalized feedback on all four IELTS skills. Every single week.

My aim is to help you understand where you need to focus your efforts in order to achieve your IELTS target.

I would welcome your comments or questions.

Regards

The IELTS Guy.
