The Internet

Post by RonyM »

 The Internet has brought many changes into our day to day life. Nowadays we are doing things such as mailing, contacting, banking and communication much faster. Does this development have more advantages or disadvantages?

The breakthroughs that the Internet has made in different fields in our life is undeniable. It, admittedly, made most of our communications faster and easier than before with subsequent marked changes in global economy. Nevertheless, people have different views regarding its benefits and drawbacks. They still wonder whether these evolutionary changes are bless or curse on our world. Personally I believe that cyber applications have advantages much more than disadvantages.

Undeniably, the most eminent benefit of Internet was in the field of communications. It is obvious that technology has made communications ,over the last few decades, faster ,cheaper and more convenient than before . For example, using smart phones ' applications like Skype and face book messenger has enabled people to contact their families from very remote areas and share happy moments with them via its camera and video. Moreover, the spead of Web based mailing services is markedly higher than conventional post services. For example, before the era of emails people had to wait for days or even weeks to send and receive replies to their mails while, emails are sent and received all over the globe in less than seconds . It is obvious that Internet has connected the whole globe into one network.

E commerce and online business world is another advantage to the growing technological advances. It one of the positive consequences to the fast and easy communication via the computer .Household ,nowadays, is able to transfer money ,purchase online and control his bank account on his smart phone or laptop easily without the need for previous face to face personal interaction at banks or shops . On the other hand, most of the companies have their site on the Web in order to attract more customers using social media for advertising and gathering their clients feedback easily.

To sum up, despite the obvious concern of some people about the disadvantages of the rapidly growing online services, I totally believe that the Internet has revolutionized our lives in different aspects mainly in communications and global economy fields .

Hello!

I totally agree with you about technology, but you should at least look at a few of the disadvantages, perhaps those closely associated with the main advantages.

Everything else is of a high standard - vocabulary, grammar and organisation.

Well done!
