TOPIC:
It is generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for sport or music, and other are not. However, it is sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or musician.

Discuss both these views and give our own opinion

--

It is believed by some that some talents are given as gifts to some people by the time they are born. However, others say that any child can learn and improve a certain skill and transform it into a talent. These points will be discussed and analysed in two different areas such as sport and music.

Firstly, there are strong arguments which reinforce that a talented person is born with certain skills, thus, if you don't earn this gift by birth you will never become a genius no matter how hard you persist. For instance, one of the best soccer player in the world called Pele has never been taught by any teacher how to play, since his childhood he was an outstanding player. Although many tried to learn soccer by schools, nobody could beat Pele's skills. Hence, it is clean why many supports this thesis.

In contrasts, some people have an opposite point of view. They said that is totally possible to anyone be taught to become a talented person. An example that supports this argument is a friend that used to have bad performance in music class at young age, however, now, after many years of practising, he became a professional piano player. It is clear that he never had any music talent when he was born, but after many studying, his music talent has grown up. Therefore, after analysing these facts we can see why some people support this claim.

In the end, accordingly to the facts mentioned, both points of view can be supported, either talented by birth or studying. However, it is quite difficult to find a genius that never attend to school. Moreover, with the high numbers of schools existent nowadays it is more likely to believe that a skills can be taught and improved by a teacher.
