Once children enter school, teachers have more influence on their intellectual and social developments than parents.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement

Schools have long been hailed as rearing grounds for pioneers and leaders alike and rightly so. It is true that parents set the premises of a child psyche but it is places like schools and academic institutions that really does expand and exploit it to its fullest potential.

After a child gets to the school going age. His interaction to his peers and most importantly his teachers affect his personality in many profound ways. Since it is their first glimpse of the outside world, the brain sponges up on quite a few attributes directly from the teachers.

However, this is not the case in every scenario. some parents are more actively involved in child rearing and take account of any and every bit of influence in their child's life. These parents are usually successful in warding off if not all but some influence their child might be raking up from the school.

Nowadays though, this is rapidly changing as family dynamics are swiftly transforming from a single breadwinner to both the parents working full time jobs. They rely heavily on schools to impart the much required social and societal skills to their children chiefly due to lack of time on their side.

In the end, it is a striking reality that the amount of influence a teacher has on a Childs development is increasing on an unprecedented rate partly due to less availability of time on parents end and how the schools have adapted to this scarcity by actively bridging this gap. There shouldn't be no stone left unturned for the future generation and that's what really matters.
