Post by esraawaleed02 »

Hello, I would like someone to check my writing mistakes and grade it please.
Task 1, The chart below shows the total number of Olympic medals won by twelve different countries.

QUESTION: Write a report for a university, lecturer describing the information shown below.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
ANSWER:
The given chart illustrates the sum of Olympic medals won in twelve different countries. From the figure, it is clear that the twelve countires are from North America, Asia, and Europe.

The chart gives clarity that USA has the highest number of winning the three different medals about 2,600 in total. On the contrary, it is obvious that Japan has the lowest of medals around 400 Olympic medals. On one hand, the Soviet Unioin comes in the first place between the Asian countires of precisly winning 1,000 medals. On the other hand, UK is the top country in the European contienent that got about 750 Olympic medals.

In general, the graph gathers information regarding the highest and lowest total number of three different Oylmpic medals in twelve different countries. It can aslo be clear that most countries won the golden medal more than the silver and brone medals excluding four or five countries.

TASK 2, Some people believe that school children should not be given homework by their teachers, whereas others argue that homework plays an important role in the education of children.

Discuss both of these views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

ANSWER:
The education system around the world follows the belief that schools should give children homework as an important aspect that supports education. Nevertheless, there is still the belief that children should get enough education from the classwork. There is no doubt that both believes exist, but from my perspective, giving homework to children supports their memory to memorize, and understand their school lessons. In addition, it improves from their mental ability.

First of all, the belief that classwork is enough for children, is not quiet convincing. The belief is built up upon the thought that children are tired after long day in school; however, giving homework for children, improves from their memory to remember what they learned in school and memorize it easily.

Secondly, in order for children to understand their lessons, they need to solve practices about what they learned in class, which there might not be enough time in school for students to practice what they learned. Practicing at home helps them to be independent while they think and do not depend on their teachers to find the answers for them.

Finally, homework is an efficient method to improve from children's mental ability. As they start to do their own tasks by themselves, it improves from their critical thinking which makes them think more while they are on their own.

To sum up, the argument about whether to handle homework or not to children still exist. The best way to fix the problem is to improve the way of giving students homeworks. Since nowadays we depend more on technology, it will be better to handle homeworks through computers, and not to forget, never overhwelm them with lots of work to do.
