Writing Task 2 : Evaluation Needed

Question

It is now possible for scientists and tourists to travel to remote natural environment, such as the South Pole.
What are advantages and disadvantages of this development?

Answer

The recent development in transportation system opens the door to remote natural places like the South Pole. This fact not only recognised for the scientists who can conduct critical experiments very easily, but also for a thousand nature lovers, who like to enjoy the treasures of nature. As a result, this development has both advantage and disadvantage for the different mentality of the users and travellers.
Only science can help us in this dying moment of our planet where a lot of environmental changes are still needed to be discovered. The possibility to reach remote places for the scientists is a stepping stone in that journey. One of the prominent examples of natural decay is global warming. In the 21st century, it is already proved that human actions have a tremendous effect on global warming. But we still need to understand the cause and effect mechanisms behind these. For example, in a recent scientific discovery, the importance of arctic sea waves has established over the water circulation in the whole world. The change in depth and quantity of hot and cold sea waves is a product of global warming, eventually causing droughts and irrigation problems in New Zealand. This thing has discovered only because of the transportation system.
Travelling to new places has the joy of achievement and the responsibility towards the environment of that place. Sometimes we forget our moral values towards nature when we travel. As a result, we not only pollute the place but sometimes we do actions that have long term effects upon our green planet. For example, we all know the harmful effects of plastic. But it is very much unfortunate that plastic wrappers and empty water bottles are the most common things in a tourist place. Travelling has the happiness of its own, but we need to be aware of the natural flora fauna and other habitats of that place.
To conclude, new places always influence us to our development in the healthy well being and the transportation system is the basic need of it. In my opinion, if we are aware enough about our moral responsibilities towards nature, travelling to new places will open new opportunities for ourselves and our planet.
