The need for effective and trustworthy progress is the greatest factor in each government. While there are some reasons to attend to develop economically, I believe that other aspects in countries’ development is usually more productive.
On one hand, some people believe making more money and building factories are paramount in countries; those who support economic prosperity to have a good life. It can be developed by industrializing, obtaining more outcomes and increasing the GDP’s rank in the world -GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is the economic ranking-. Meanwhile responding to the basic human needs and constructing foundations are significant factors to progress in each community, whether they can make happiness or quiet lives or society justice for members of society. For example, men who work hard during a day may have a lot of money, whether they have any time to do enjoyable and happiness things or not.
On the other hand, it is perhaps even more important to prepare other aspects of government’s progress, such as quality of life, having equal opportunity and society justice, which are not dependent to economic goals. For instance, Kuwait and Australia are two countries with the best and equal GDP’s rank in the world, but these are not comparable in the SPI index- SPI (Social Progress Imperative) is the social ranking-. It seems that Kuwait only has economic and industrial development, but Australia has developed in both of the factors and could provide the social, environmental and political progress for the average citizens.
In conclusion, it seems to me that economic improvement is not only and absolute factor for countries, though country’s progress should be prepared in many other indexes as well.
