Can your listener understand the structure of your speech? Do you use linking words when you move from one idea to another? Do you use words and phrases of contrast to discuss different ideas?
After you record yourself, watch it later to see if your answer was coherent. Could you understand how your ideas fit together and answered the question?
If not, you might try answering the question again, using linking words, like "on the other hand," "although," or "in addition."
