Hi saiqbali,

usually results will be announced 13 days after test, either 9am or 11am... definitely by 12pm, you might see your results online..

I received this email:

Quality control procedures are in place to protect the integrity and security of the IELTS test. From time to time, therefore, results are looked at as part of the routine quality assurance checks carried out by the IELTS Test Partners. Your results are being withheld as part of these routine checks.

Please note that it is specified in the declaration signed by candidates on the application form that results may not be issued on the 13th day after the test date.

We will complete these checks as soon as possible.

WHY ME ?????????????????????????????????????????///
what are reasons?
how much time It could withheld?

Hi Saiqbali,

This won't happen every time, did they confirm the same with the letter?

If that happens then it takes a week on top, so 20 days instead of 13 days.

It happened to me when I wrote my exam at Melbourne, they withheld for one week

hope for the best

Gud luck

Hi Saiqbali,

Sorry to hear that you need to retake the test, but the positive thing is you almost close to everything, only 0.5.

so you would better do listening and reading practice more, just book exam only if you score band 8 in those two modules. Band 8 is just difference of 4 questions.

then in writing , keep reading ielts essays and note down good phrases and sentence structure. If you get good task response , even with simple words, then you probably get band 7.

anyway...good luck
