Take for example, The Center for Disease Control, the institution has launched hundreds of project regarding proper hand washing thorough media. The simple act of washing hands has been deemed as the most effective way to prevent diarrheal and respiratory diseases. Furthermore, It also deters the spread of microorganism to other individuals thus preventing the communicability of the disease. It is evident that these actions could lead to better health conditions.
Secondly, a good foundation on primary health care prevention entails early diagnosis and treatment. This could lead to less expensive therapy, good prognosis and better outcomes. Take for instance, The World Health Organization(WHO), the association has provided education on early detection of breast cancer through Breast Self Examination and early mammography. In addition, WHO has also launched awareness programs to women and well as provision of HPV vaccination to prevent cervical cancer.
