Students who go directly from school to university benefit less from and contribute less to their courses than those who take a job or travel in order to get more experience in 'real world' before they start higher education. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge and experience.

Nowadays, it’s highly debatable topic that whether individual should join university after getting some experience or without any experience. Some believed, taking experience by job or travel prior to join university is essential for individuals to get success in university life and further. However, others believed that freshman can get more benefit from the university courses. Both points of view will be discussed in the upcoming lines before a reasoned conclusion is drawn.

Firstly, teachers have to taught several disciplines during the under graduation. For example, in computer science we have taught software engineering, programming languages, networking, database development, and data sciences. Consequently, students with some experience would get benefit of their job by participating in the class but there is also dark perspective that their personal interest lie only on those courses in which they have specialization. As a result, they would not score well in other disciplines.

On the other hand, fresh students have a curiosity to drill every subjects till down. This curiosity aid them to get good grade in all the subjects and they also have a chance to get benefit from their experience class fellow. For example, during my under graduation period in Computer Science, I had a chance to study with guy, who already had five years of development experience. So we learnt industries’ programming practice from him and basic programming from our teachers. Consequently, we also got good result in programming, but we were ahead in other courses.

To conclude, usually fresh students get good grades in all the university courses. However, experienced students performed well and cultivate the class environment by participating in their specialized subject. It’s believed that university should hire industry experienced teachers so that if there is no experienced student in the class, teacher can overcome students need.
