i just completed my speaking test , it was easy main question was about TV and radio what is your fav tv show and why , also about colors what's your fav and why , and do u think car colour is important ? Describe your home and your fav room and why , should the government set rules for TV and radio programs and how it help in education, and about the new technology how will it affect TV and radio normal General questions , all the best for the rest who even does the writing exam first tomorrow plz do update us

Hello guys
I appeared for my Speaking test earlier today in Pakistan (GMT+5)

Initially she asked me about my job, how difficult it is, Am I satisfied etc. She then asked about public holidays.

After that, she gave me the topic, I was asked to speak about "A Job that is considered Important in my country"

-How much training is required.
-Why people pick it
-What kind of people choose it
and Explain how it helps the country

In the end, she discussed how much education is important and what's the situation in your country.

My last question was "Do you think everyone should go for university education" Now this one was a trick question, I said Yes but she interrupted and said that If everyone went to university who will do the farming and who'll fix your car. So be very careful, They help you a lot. Don't panic, I was quite nervous before the test, but once I went in everything turned out to be okay.

6. How do you think about the home appliaces in the future? Would it be helpful or not?
7. Did you help to do some house work when you were a child?

Task 2
Describe the thing that you don't have today but you want to learn it

Follow up question : do you think you could do that?

Task 3
How important is it to learn about computer?
With the massive development of technology, do you think that it will help future education?
Do you think that computer will be the only source of education (which means there no more class with teacher)

And some other follow up question that I don't remember clearly, but it kinda in same topics.

Guys, just exited my exam hall. The test was crap - I performed really poorly. Listening was easy! Reading was hard like hell and the writing was terrible - the topic was on standardization of lifestyles across the world due to technological advances. And a bar chart in task 1.

Today's test was fairly simple compare to the online mock tests I have appeared in so far for academic part. Here's a snapshot:

Listening: Most of the questions were quite straight except for a number question which was about members of a group of choir which was initially 5 then became 12 and finally 19, it was tricky to answer. The last section of listening had IPR as the topic.

Reading: 1st passage in today's test is available in online tests (Road to IELTS). It was about animal/human behavior(try to identify it with Papalov's experiment). The second passage was about towns and villages in England. The last passage was about importance of learning human behavior by Health Professionals.

Writing: 1st question was a Bar chart showing employment percentages in various sectors between men and women in one of the countries of Europe for year 2008. 2nd one was How Science and Technology has impacted people across the world. I think second option was extremely lengthy so my advice will be to prepare some examples on general topics so that you can specifically write to the point.

As I remember, for 31 is people make earn money there, number 32 it could C, i forgot, i just remember what the man comment to the woman, 33. Both sides, 34. Digital image, 35. I think the woman says about the details..so I just guessing the answer is C, and last 36. Objection..A.

I really hate this section because the man talks too much and many unnecessary comment. It makes me confusing.

About your answer in section 1, it is only one word right?

I think you will get a better score than me nitoz, in section 1, I lost 3 number,and might be I made an unnecesary mistake. I wrote mountain without (s,)but as i remember any article 'a' so i think that must be singular. On number 7 - 8, I just heard...the problem with 'walk', and you need 'horses' to reach a peak of mountain.

I thought,it's the about a range of birds type is 19, and special bla bla is 6.
