Please evaluate Nuclear weapon task2 Thank you

The threat of nuclear weapons maintains world peace. Nuclear power provides cheap and clean energy. The benefits of nuclear technology far outweigh the disadvantages. To what extent do you agree or disagree.

Nuclear technology is a technology that use radioactive substances in order to provide energy. There are many arguments about nuclear technology. Some people think nuclear technology has more pros that cons whereas some others feel like it does more harm than good.

On one hand, nuclear power provides eco-friendly energy if no mistakes is occurred in the procedure. In comparison with coal or fossil fuel, nuclear fuel is far cleaner and less toxicity since solely little amount of carbon dioxide gas is formed. Excitedly, only product formed is steam, which is made from purely gaseous state of water.
Not only does nuclear power itself cause very small effect and quite cheap compared to other kinds of fuels, but it also made the world peaceful once. Recalling the World War II, the war wouldn’t end if nuclear weapons are not introduced and there could be more death and poverty at that time.
On the other hand, despite the fact that this provides a huge impact on ending the WWII, people might argue that it caused severe effect on those who lost the war. Considering the city like Hiroshima, where a lot of babies are born with disability because of the remaining nuclear hazards and radioactivity, the use of nuclear weapons seem to be unfair for them.

In a nutshell, to answer whether the advantages of nuclear technology far outweigh the disadvantages or not might be too complicated to answer just ‘yes’ or ‘no’. I think it all depends on how people use it rather that the nuclear technology itself. I believe that ideally, if nuclear technology is used properly, deliberately, and without a wrongfull purpose, it would do more good than harm.
