Question:
Some people claim that governments should take action to ensure that people have a healthy lifestyle. Others, however, disagree and believe that people should decide themselves which way they prefer to live their life. To what extend to do you agree, and suggest your opinions?

Answer:
Adopting a healthy lifestyle is an ongoing process. With our freedom of thoughts, we need to be very careful in choosing our lifestyle. Its easy to miss the right path. Governments taking action regarding the same is considered bad by some group of people. However, I’m disagreeing with them as we will discuss in this essay.

At the onset, lifestyle totally depends on each person's desire. It’s totally acceptable for a person to have a lifestyle as they would think. Its believed that people are enough sagacious to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong for their life. Even though this statement looks like true, it may not be the case always. They tend to make mistakes and thus follow up a wrong lifestyle. For example, in countries like India the number of people who are affected by tobacco diseases are increasing in number in recent days. This clearly shows that people without any advisory from others had fallen into the trap of wrong path. Apparently, Government of India had acted to telecast the awareness about this in theatres, television shows which had very good impact on the people's mindset and the consumption of tobacco as well.

As discussed above its better for the government to act for the people's lifestyle. But applying that in practice may have lot of constraints and problems as well. Governments cannot layout a lifestyle plan which will suit for all people of the country. Similarly, they can't enforce the practices in the people's life as that would go against their fundamental freedom of rights. However, they could do on a regular basis to publish health advisories using the countries well known doctors, information on the food's which will be good for the people and about unhealthy food habits. They can pick media as their primary source of medium to connect between their people. This could be really a good strategy for them to pass on the necessary information to the people about lifestyle and at the same time not interfering in their freedom.

In summary, people must take up their lifestyle on their own. But as discussed above, it’s not easy for them to get it correctly and thus its advisable to get advisories from governments on their foods, health and other things which will help them to take better and right decisions.

Firstly, lifestyle totally depends on each person's desire. It’s totally acceptable for a person to live the lifestyle they want. As discussed above, it's better for the government to act in order to improve people's lifestyles. But applying that in practice may have lot of constraints and problems as well. In summary, people must take up their lifestyle on their own. But as discussed above, it’s not easy for them to get it right, and thus it's advisable to get advisories from governments on their food, health and other things which will help them to take better decisions.
