IELTS Task 1:
The chart below shows the results of a questionnaire that asked visitors to Parkway Hotel how they rated the hotel’s customer service. The same questionnaire was given to 100 guests in the years 2005 and 2010.


The pie charts compare the figures of 100 visitors’ feedback to Parkway Hotel’s customer service, in the two separate years.
It is noticeable that more customers praised the hotel’s customer service. There was a dramatic increase in the proportion of people who considered its service to be excellent, rising from 5% in 2005 to 28% in 2010. There was a similar trend in the figure for the surveyed, who see the hotel’s customer service good, with an increase of 25% during this period.
By contrast, less people are dissatisfied with Parkway Hotel’s customer service. The proportion of visitors, who regard it as satisfactory, witnessed a significant decrease, dropping from 45% in 2005 to only 17% in 2010. Similarly, 15% of customers rated the hotel’s customer service as poor, and this figure halved in 2010, in compared with only 4% people considering its service very poor in 2010.
In conclusion, the number of people who regarded Parkway Hotel’s customer service as excellent and good increased remarkably over the period shown. There was an opposite trend in the figure for people who rated its service as poor and very poor.
