Writing Task 2

Topic: Government investment in the arts, such as music and theatre, is a waste of money. Government must invest this money in public services instead.
To what extend do you agree with this statement?

Financial support of Government is essential for a country’s development in the modern world. Even allocation from the budget on art and public services is important like on other parts of the whole system in a state. Personally, it is agreed that spending money should be invested on both the arts and public services. Analyzing this point of view will be given in the following supporting paragraphs.

On the one hand, investment on the arts is not waste of money. For example, it is earned a lot of money in the live concerts from selling tickets in the countries. The Governments collect taxes on the revenue earned in such shows and this allocation refunds to the budget. Thus, spending money on the arts raises revenues in the budget by attracting tourists and natives.

On the second hand, Government should focus on the public services by investing money in order to increase the quality of life. For instance, funding on public hospitals would allow citizens to use necessary medical treats without expensive costs. In another sample it can be said that increasing investment on education means enables everyone using the better schools, universities and courses. As a result, financial support by the Government on the public services could change the way of life that people live.

In conclusion, government should invest money equally on the art and the public services because both of them are essential to the development of the economy and the ability of the people to progress socially. Therefore, they should be financed at the same degree by the government.
