Hi Mohammed,

As Larry pointing out before, you are a very strong speaker. I think I caught that your goal is band 7, and I think you very likely will achieve this.

You've likely posted this response here for tips on how to put that final polish on your speaking. Here are a few areas you can work on:

1. There are too many instances where you correct yourself by repeating vocabulary. Actively try to avoid doing this, as it makes you sound unsure of yourself despite the fact your grammar and lexical resources are very good.

2. At one point you mention "childrens" and at another point you say "childs". These are non-existent words.

3. Try to work on your short /I/ sounds. It's not "thees lesson". It's "this lesson". For reference, visit: http://www.pronuncian.com/Lessons/defau ... ?Lesson=97, http://www.pronuncian.com/Lessons/Defau ... ?Lesson=28

4. There is some slight incoherence when you talk about your suit and shoes. It sounds to me like you are saying "suite".

5. Avoid repeatedly describing things as "best". Avoiding repeatedly describing yourself as "happy". I know it can be hard to do in the moment, but train yourself to use more descriptive words.

6. Overall, I think the response starts very strong and slowly loses momentum. Towards the end, it is clear that you are straining to think of things to say. Keep pushing yourself to speak at length. If you remember my conversation at IELTSCast with Toby, include exercises in your training that push you to speak for much longer than two minutes at a time. Doing this will strengthen your ability to pull thoughts together on the fly and will make the task of speaking for two minutes that much easier for you.

I hope the above couple of thoughts help. Good luck!

Thanks for your feedback Ryan:)

The non-existent words that you have noted comes out unconsciously.Sometimes I don't even notice that I made a mistake like that during speaking. Then, when I listen to my record I catch this kind of mistakes.Word repeating also happens automatically.I think I've got a habit of repeating from time to time when I speak.

Anyway,Ryan, yes a 7 band was my goal initially. But now I think I can improve it a little further-7.5 to cover my weakness in writing. My exam is on 15th of March. What do you think Ryan, can I improve my current score to 7.5 in this period?

Also,I've made some complete mock tests myself.I have tried to act as an examiner and a candidate. But I couldn't upload them due to limitations in this site. They are mostly more than 10mb (11-14min) whereas your site allows a maximum of 4 mb.Ryan, how can I send them to you?
