Hello to all,
I have noticed that in some of the letters, the objective is not specific about letter. It is not clear to the writer that why he needs to write this letter. For instance, view a letter request below:
You spent holidays with your friends in a foreign country. Write a letter to your friends. In your letter:
Thank them for sending you photographs of holiday tour.
Describe them why you are writing so late
Invite them at your place to spend some time with you.
As we all are aware of the fact that in first paragraph of an IELTS letter, we need to mention exactly why we are writing this letter.
In above situation, what we need to write in first paragraph ?
Whether we are writing to thank them for sending photos ?
Are we writing to them about why it took us a long time to contact or reply to them ?
If we are writing to invite them to visit our place/country ?
