Percentage of Task 1 and 2 in IELTS writing test

Hi Examiners,

I am wondering what is the proportion of IELTS writing task 1 and task 2.

In assumption, I got 7.5 for task 1 and 6.5 for task 2. What is the score for my writing section?

Is it 20% for task 1 and 80% for task 2?

Hello!

The score is made up of 1/3 Task 1 and 2/3 Task 2. The score is then rounded so 7.5 in T1 and 6.5 in T2 gives a score of 7.
