I have been preparing for the IELTS exam for almost a year now. I could have taken it last year but there were a couple of reasons why not to. Firstly, because my island (Bohol, Philippines) was hit by twin natural disasters (7.2 killer quake and supertyphoon Haiyan/Yolanda) that affected practically every operation in the city. Apparently, IELTS review classes were hampered. Secondly, the testing fee is double my monthly salary. The meager amount I earn is strictly for the basic needs like food. I could not afford the necessary fees for the exam, let alone the expenses going to the nearby island where the test is conducted. This prompts me to request for your financial backing.
