Assessor of IELTS Speaking

Hello Ryan,

I am confused here. On various occasions I came across some very important articles regarding, "How to impress your speaking assessor." My question is the person who is conducting our speaking test, is he the same person who will assess our speaking component and award the bands to the candidates? Or the interlocutor just conducts the test and forward it to somebody else for the assessment?

Hi Muhammad,

The person conducting your exam will also be the one gauging your speaking.
