Re: how to find out idea to write?

mhingz is right,

just keep practice writing, the more you write, the easier those ideas will come to you. As many any ideas can be recycled.

Re: When was the last time you read a book?

Does reading comic books counts as reading a book? :D

I used to read Archie books when I was little. And then grow up reading Marvel / DC 's.

Re: Demystify IELTS myths

Personally, I don't fully subscribe to these beliefs either. However, I have come to know quite a number of candidates [ in Australia at least] whom send their unsatisfied results for a remark and got their score increased 1 and some even 2+ band scores. Hence, such discrepancies, which seems to occ...

Re: Are the questions repeated?

One of my realization about IELTS exam, at least based on my recent experience are that the topics often revolve around first world problem. I ponder if there's there's a "Western" / privileged partiality in IELTS exams. Questions I have encountered, [ all my IELTS I sat in Australia ] suc...

Dear Ryan. Thank you so much for setting up this community. I am still humbled by the results which I have fought so restlessly. I, for one wishes that no one should go through the agony I went through. However I am the odd one, it is clear I am terrible at sitting exams. I am sure most people, with...

Alas!

My apologies I haven't been here lately, it's been awhile! Alas, I would like to preface that taking IELTS has mentally impoverished me. I plunged into depression, each time I received my failed results, it severed my self-esteem. It was something that if I do not get the score I needed, it would me...

Re: Worried about speaking test

I don't have much in-depth knowledge how the speaking examiner would assess the speaking. as long as you answer his/her question without derailing too much, naturally and spontaneously, without repeating the same words, you are probably will be fine. again, that's what i think, i could be wrong.
